Yu-mi is a saja-type demon.  In demon form, they have purple skin and patterns, and wear modernized black chima jeogori, reflecting how young they are compared to most demons.  So she can move around easier, the hem of the skirt is cut above the ankle.Disguised, she has fair skin and she leans towards a chaotic, alternative appearance.  While their natural hair color is black, they use shapeshifting to play with hairstyles and colors.In both forms, they have a short stature and a small build, but maintain some amount of muscle, notably in their shoulders.

Personality

If asked what motivates them most, Yu-mi would answer  "either making the most out of my life or helping others find that freedom".  Given a wish, she would make a selfless one — not because she's a saint, but because she trusts her ability to care for own wants.They are stubborn.  People who dislike her describe her as 'irritating', while someone with a rosier perspective would say 'determined'.  While it's stopped them from losing themselves to demonhood, it causes them problems. She's constantly in conflict with anyone who holds a different opinion of Gwi-ma, and Gwi-ma himself.Her fear of harming others comes into conflict with them being a demon. They must consume souls to survive, so they've compromised by only targeting bullies and people who abuse their power.  Yet, when they had to choose between death and consuming an innocent soul, they chose their own survival, with remorse.A manipulator would want to hold that fear and remorse over them.  Sure, they would need to humanize themselves in her eyes first, if she already hates them, but then they can pull on that fear, especially if they make her doubt her judgement.Even in the face of strife, she tries to hold onto their sense of self and their freedom.  They use that strife to motivate themselves to try new things: new foods, new styles of music, new activities. 

History

Yu-mi shies away from describing their past.  Only her friends (and Gwi-ma, by necessity), know the details; others get cryptic breadcrumbs at best.  What is public information, though, is that they're a young demon, and that there has to be some reason they made a deal.However, even outsiders can pick up on hints: her small stature, her dialect, and odd anecdotes and observations.
